Your one-stop-shop UK farm business directory

As the UK agricultural industry faces further political, environmental and financial obstacles in the years to come, farmers continue to ‘fight the good fight’ – adapting to a range of unprecedented challenges. However, as farming is notoriously one of the most isolating careers in the world, adaptation to outside forces can be challenging when you don’t know where or who to turn to for advice and recommendations.

Over the past 42 years, the Farmers Guide team has understandably collected and developed a wealth of agricultural knowledge, as well as a vast network of trusted agri-businesses from all sectors of British farming.

We feel it is our duty to share our insight and connections with our 90,000 plus readers across the UK, to ensure your business is developing successfully alongside an evolving industry.

A new online resource for farmers

We know that a farmers’ most precious resource is often their time. Whilst the world wide web has enabled companies to become more accessible and, theoretically, quicker to find, it has also opened up a huge amount of online choice which can be overwhelming, inefficient – and let’s face it, a headache most of the time.

This is where FarmHub comes in.

From 7th June 2021 this new online portal, created to advise and enhance your farm business, will launch on the Farmers Guide website with a comprehensive directory of recommended companies and specialist insight into our most popular subjects.

Helping you to stay one step ahead, the web page will include an easy-to-navigate categorised list of relevant businesses, some of which have featured within our magazine pages for decades. FarmHub will also incorporate separate topic pages, expanding on our most popular subjects for in-depth insight, advice and case studies on current and future issues UK farmers are facing. Our first three topics launching in June are Diversification, Farm Vehicles and Animal Health.

What to expect

As a wide-ranging resource designed to streamline your business development, FarmHub will save you time connecting with suppliers, dealers, agronomists, consultants and more at the click of a button.

The vast directory will include prevalent categories such as Contractors, Finance & Funding, Dealers, Energy & Environmental, Farm Security, Training & Courses, as well as Recruitment to name a few.

For those who seek to profit from their land beyond agriculture, browse our Diversification page, where you can mix and match the services you would like to implement, learn from case studies or ask a question.

Similarly, if you’re unsure of which farm vehicle to invest in next, use our farm test reports from our award-winning machinery editor David Williams to help plan your next move, and peruse the latest offers.

When it comes to Animal Health, utilise weekly advice from our livestock editor Sarah Kidby, as well as staying informed on the latest industry facts and figures.

FarmHub launches on 7th June 2021 on the Farmers Guide website
