Tributes paid to Welsh farmer who died in quadbike accident 

Family has paid tributes to a 65-year-old Welsh farmer who tragically died in a quadbike accident. 

Welsh farmer, Hugh Tudor, who farmed at Tynberllan, Llanilar, tragically died in a quadbike accident, Dyfed-Powys Police confirmed.

Hugh Tudor, who farmed at Tynberllan, Llanilar, was described as a devoted father to Sara, Lowri and the late Gwenno as well as a loving husband to his wife Ann with whom he spent over 40 years. 

Mr Tudor was killed in the accident near Aberystwyth on 17th July. 

Police had attended the incident, which involved an agricultural quadbike in a field. The officers confirmed that the farmer had died at the scene.

Paying tribute to him, Mr Tudor’s family said: “Hugh was the son of the late Tom and Sybil Tudor of Glanystwyth and brother to Richard. 

“Farming was his life, but he also had a wide range of interests and was actively involved in all aspects of the local community in Llanilar and beyond. 

“We would like to thank everybody for their support and kindness during this difficult time.”
