Plea issued after tractor was set alight on Scottish farm

A Scottish farm has issued a plea to find people responsible for setting a tractor on fire.

A Scottish farm, Eastmill Farm in Glenisla, Angus, issued a plea to find people responsible for setting a tractor on fire on 23rd March.

The incident happened just after 2am Sunday, 23rd March, at Eastmill Farm in Glenisla, Angus.

Mimi Forbes, whose husband and mother-in-law work at the farm, said: “Too many farm and rural crimes get swept under the rug and forgotten about.

“It is a horrible feeling knowing, at this time of year when Adam and Pamela [the farm ownwrs] can be out on the farm calving at any hour of the day, that they or their belongings may not be safe.”

Mrs Forbes added that a reward will be given for any information leading to conviction of people involved.
