Rural mental health champion and BBC Countryfile presenter Adam Henson hosted a Mental Health Awareness Workshop, which brought together mental health advocates and agricultural professionals to highlight the importance of mental well-being within the farming community.

A decade after RSABI first launched its Supporters’ Scheme, the charity is announcing exciting plans which will see the scheme rebranded as ‘Friends of RSABI’.

There is no doubt that 2024 was a challenging year for farming in the UK and, given the added stress farmers are currently experiencing, ensuring farmers and farm workers prioritise both their physical and mental wellbeing has never been more important, said the Farm Safety Foundation team while launching its annual Mind Your Head campaign.

A major study by the University of Exeter and The Farming Community Network will help to come up with new solutions for improving the health and well-being of women working in agriculture.

Morrisons has introduced a 25% discount for farmers in all its cafés every Tuesday from tomorrow, 3rd December. ‘Tractor Tuesdays’ aim to bring farmers together as well as make the farming industry more visible to customers shopping in stores for the food they produce, the retailer said.
