Jeremy Clarkson’s Hawkstone beer hits SPAR shelves

Fans of Clarkson’s Farm will be happy to learn that beers from Jeremy Clarkson’s brewery are now available at SPAR stores across the North of England.
Fresh from Clarkson’s Farm and landing on the shelves will be Hawkstone Premium Lager in 330ml bottles, Hawkstone Pils in 330ml bottles and Hawkstone Cider in a 500ml bottle.
The range will be sold in a select number of SPAR stores in individual bottles with the premium lager priced at £2.75, the pilsner at £2.49 and the cider at £2.99.
All Hawkstone lagers are brewed with premium barley grown by British farmers, ensuring the highest quality and freshest taste, the brewery confirmed.
The brand’s commitment to local sourcing extends to its cider, made with only freshly pressed apples from British orchards – never from concentrate, they added.
Real thirst for Hawkstone
Rob Midgley, head of trading for licenced products at James Hall & Co. Ltd, which serves a network of independent SPAR retailers and company-owned SPAR stores across Northern England, said: “We are thrilled to be selling Hawkstone products, and we anticipate that the premium lager, pilsner, and cider will be in strong demand from customers, particularly those who are fans of Clarkson’s Farm.
“We know that Hawkstone is a sought-after brand, and there has been real thirst for the range from both our company-owned G&E Murgatroyd SPAR stores and our SPAR independent retailers.
“By selling the product in individual bottles, it provides fans of the show who may not have tried it a chance to sample it, and introduces the product to new customers too, hopefully encouraging them to develop a taste for Hawkstone products longer term.”
