Kaleb Cooper announces launch of his first children’s book
20th March 2025
The Clarkson’s Farm star, Kaleb Cooper, has announced the launch of his first children’s book, called ‘Kaleb’s Farmyard Tales: Escaping Animals and Runaway Tractors’.
Kaleb Cooper wrote on his social media: ‘So excited to announce I have a children’s book coming out!
‘It’s so amazing to have so many young people asking me about farming and how to get into it! Farming to me is the best thing in the world. Let’s get farming being taught in schools.’
In his book, Kaleb encourages kids to grab their wellies and join him in the farming adventures.
The book will cover stories about his trusty dog, his favourite tractor, as well as events happening on the farm.
Kaleb added: “You’ll meet Jeff the Mad Rooster, Bruce the Breakout Boar (and maybe even catch him), learn the wisdom of sheep, and try to use your tractor to solve nearly every problem.’
The publisher Wren & Rook said that the book, with its funny illustrations, is perfect for all farm-mad fans aged five to seven years old.
‘These silly true stories are everything Kaleb’s learnt since he first became a farmer, aged 16, keeping chickens in his mum’s garden,’ they concluded.
Kaleb’s Farmyard Tales: Escaping Animals and Runaway Tractors will be released later this year.
It’s a Farming Thing
Last year, Kaleb released his third book, called It’s a Farming Thing.
It includes Kaleb’s highs, lows and unexpected adventures of farming life, from wrestling with temperamental tractors to dodging the wrath of cantankerous cows and, after all that, why he still believes he has the best job in the world.
He wrote: “A lot of those old sayings, ‘Red sky at night…’ and so on, are based on real knowledge.
“Not that red sky at night really does mean shepherd’s delight – the only thing that’s ever going to delight a shepherd is changing their job and not having to work with sheep any more.”
