With many farming and crofting families worrying about the cost of heating their homes this winter, RABI is reminding the agricultural community about its heating grants. The support has increased to £400 this year.

A spokesperson for RABI said: “We understand that the cold winter months bring additional financial pressures. That’s why RABI is offering £400 per farming household to help with fuel costs this winter.

“This grant is open to both working and non-working farming people in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland.”

Applications will be open from 9am on Monday, 27 January. Due to the popularity of the grant in previous years, farmers are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.
