The book, called It’s a Farming Thing, will be published on 24th October 2024.

It will include Kaleb’s highs, lows and unexpected adventures of farming life, from wrestling with temperamental tractors to dodging the wrath of cantankerous cows and, after all that, why he still believes he has the best job in the world.

He wrote: “A lot of those old sayings, ‘Red sky at night…’ and so on, are based on real knowledge. Not that red sky at night really does mean shepherd’s delight – the only thing that’s ever going to delight a shepherd is changing their job and not having to work with sheep any more.”

One of biggest names in farming

Kaleb’s latest book will also reflect on his loveable, down-to-earth personality and his deep passion for farming, with dead-pan gags and unique observations that will make readers cry with laughter.

The publisher said: “This is the unexpected and utterly hilarious story of how he came to be one of the biggest names in farming today.”

Kaleb in private

Kaleb has been working in farming since a very young age and broadened his interests by studying agriculture at Moreton Morrell College.

To support the next generation of farmers, he has launched an agricultural bursary through the Royal Agricultural University and also released a charity single and music video, I Can’t Stand Sheep, to raise awareness of RABI.

When he is not working, Kaleb spends time with his young family and collects tractors and cars.

His first book, The World According to Kaleb, was an instant Sunday Times bestseller, and he recently undertook a successful countrywide theatre tour… once he had been persuaded to leave his beloved Cotswolds.
