Clarkson’s Farm star Kaleb Cooper to release his first book
22nd March 2022
Revealing the news on Instagram, Kaleb said the book will be about lots of things, but mostly why he loves farming.
Farmer and contractor Kaleb Cooper quickly became a firm favourite on Jeremy Clarkson’s hit Amazon Prime show Clarkson’s Farm, as viewers delighted in their on-screen bickering.
Following in the footsteps of Clarkson, who recently released Diddly Squat: A Year on the Farm, Kaleb will now release his own book, The World According to Kaleb.
Announcing the news on Instagram Kaleb said: ‘As you all know, I’m not a big reader (the only book I’ve ever actually read is @jeremyclarkson1) so I’ve decided to do the next best thing and write my own book! SURPRISE.
‘It’s about lots of things but really it’s about how I love farming, and why nothing beats sitting on a tractor and ploughing a field – which, funnily enough, is where I did most of my brainstorming for this book.’
According to early details on the book, it will share Kaleb’s ‘worldly wisdom on life’s big issues’, from the difference between straw and hay to the importance of having a hair perm’, a quip which will not be lost on fans of the show, who witnessed Kaleb’s hairstyle ambitions play out during the first series.
It is described as ‘utterly hilarious’, sharing Kaleb’s strong views on many subjects, including sheep (‘stupid’), Clarkson himself (‘idiot’), trucks (‘the next best thing to tanks’) and New York (‘if it’s like London, where there are no tractors, that’s no good’).
Published by Quercus, the book is due for release on 13th October 2022 and signed copies are available to pre-order from WH Smiths.
