Clarkson’s Farm season 4 filming interrupted 

It is not a secret anymore that the celebrity and farmer has purchased a pub and is now renovating it before opening to the public. 

Mr Clarkson has recently become the owner of The Windmill pub in Burford, Oxfordshire. He revealed that the historic Cotswolds pub cost him ‘less than £1 million’. 

Fans of the farming show are expecting to see the renovation process in the next season of Clarkson’s Farm. 

However, filming of the new episodes has been repeatedly interrupted, according to MailOnline. 

Interrupted by aircraft noise 

The media outlet reports that cameras keep having to stop rolling at The Windmill pub as some of the world’s biggest military transporters fly directly over on training exercises from Brize Norton, as Britain’s biggest RAF base is located just 1.5 miles away from the pub.  

The frequent military flyovers at the country inn have led locals to speculate whether Mr Clarkson hastily entered into the £1 million deal to purchase the venue without fully understanding its proximity to country’s largest military airbase. 

According to witnesses, Mr Clarkson’s crew had to stop filming scenes from the venue due to the aircraft noise on several occasions. 

The celebrity was seen standing on a new decking area in the pub and pointing at the sky as he attempted to speak directly to the camera.

Clarkson supports farmers’ mental health 

While announcing his latest venture, Mr Clarkson said that the newly purchased venue will be offering products from the Diddly Squat Farm as well as his own Hawkstone beer on draught. 

He also recently submitted a planning application to West Oxfordshire District Council, which seeks permission to extend the provision of alcohol on site to outdoors.    

Mr Clarkson also plans to “update the floor plans to include a bar on the first floor” and “include a temporary tent in a fixed location”. 

The Clarkson’s Farm star said that he would like to create a room at his pub that would enable farmers to receive mental health support as well as get a free pint. 

He recently published on Hawkstone’s social media: “We know that farming can be a struggle, especially during harvest.
