Tractor with trailer full of hay overturns on busy road in Essex

The A120 has been blocked in both directions between B1024 near Coggeshall and A12 near MarksTey, following the accident that happened this afternoon, 12th November. 

Traffic is queuing from Ashbury Drive to A12 London Road J25 (Marks Tey) as a result of the blockage. The incident has also closed the A12 northbound exit slip road, according to local media. 

Essex Police have advised motorists to avoid the area.

Diversion Details

• Eastbound – exit the A120 at the Great Notley Interchange and take the A131 southbound towards Chelmsford, continue to meet the A120 at J19
• Westbound – remain on the A12 southbound, exit at J19 to join the A131 northbound and continue to the Great Notley Interchange with the A120 near Braintree
