Agri university to host conference on the future of food and farming
15th February 2023
Writtle University College have announced that they are launching their new Writtle Farmers Club with an inaugural conference to be held on Friday 3rd March.
The Writtle Farmers Club will encourage opportunities and collaboration within the farming community, also furthering WUC’s understanding of the fast-changing priorities of the agricultural industry and sector-relevant courses and research.
The conference, hosted by Writtle University College, will focus on the future of food and farming and will provide a fantastic opportunity to join with others from the sector, explore the latest challenges and discuss why the practice of farming must change.
The programme will include a variety of talks, including the key note address by John Pawsey, a regenerative and organic farmer at Shimpling Hall in Suffolk, who will be speaking on the topic of the ‘Future of food and farming – how we could all work together’.
A complimentary locally sourced lunch will be provided and the day is intended to provide a wealth of learning opportunities that you will be able to translate back to your own business.
