UK tractor registrations in March 2024 marked as above average
5th April 2024
The number of agricultural tractors (over 50hp) registered in the UK in March has risen by 4% compared to the same time of year in the last five years.
The Agricultural Engineers Association announced that 1,939 tractors were registered last month. That is 13% lower than the exceptionally high figure recorded in March 2023, but still above the average.
Although the total of 2,891 machines for the year to date is 14% lower than in the opening three months of last year, it is only 5% down on average for January to March in recent years.
The latest figures suggest that, while demand is clearly not as strong as it was in the previous couple of years, there are still plenty of buyers out there for tractors.
