Deutz-Fahr at LAMMA 2025 with “a tractor to suit every operation”

SDF will be exhibiting an extensive selection of Deutz-Fahr tractors at LAMMA 2025, covering the needs of all types and size of farm and contracting requirement.

Known for operating one of the newest and most efficient tractor factories in the world – with its new Lauingen plant in Germany opened in 2017 – and believing in independent family dealerships, Deutz-Fahr is once again backing LAMMA and the British farming industry with an extensive display of tractors to suit the needs of all types and sizes of farm and contracting operation.

From orchard/vineyard to livestock models and units to suit every size of arable enterprise, parent business SDF is keen to show LAMMA visitors why Deutz-Fahr tractors are directly comparable to any of the alternatives on the market, with the manufacturer’s commitment underscored by a recently-opened new UK headquarters.

The 9 Series

The LAMMA stand will be fronted by the flagship of the Deutz-Fahr tractor range, the 336hp (max) 9340 TTV, finished in optional Warrior Black, designed to help any farm or contracting business stand out.

Fitted as standard with Deutz-Fahr’s proven TTV continuously-variable 40/50/60kph transmission, the 9340 and its two 9 Series siblings – the 295hp 9290 and 312hp 9310 – have proven increasingly popular with larger farms and contracting businesses over recent years.

Producing 1,372Nm maximum torque at 1,500rpm, the 9340 can travel at 40- or 50kph at just 1,480rpm, providing significant fuel economy benefits.

With up to 210-litres/min of hydraulic oil flow, up to six rear remote valves, a 12,000kg rear linkage capacity and a front linkage that can lift 6,000kg, plus a 12,000kg unladen weight, the 9 series offers plenty of implement handling ability. And with the MaxiVision cab, incorporating intuitive operating controls such as the Deutz-Fahr iMonitor, the 9 series tractors are instinctively easy to operate.

The 8 Series

Many of the same attributes hold true for the Deutz-Fahr 8 Series, which has established itself strongly in the market since its launch just four years ago. The 8280 TTV, which produces a maximum 287hp and has a top travel speed of up to 60km/h, has an unladen weight of 9,430–10,725kg, depending on configuration, with a maximum gross vehicle weight of 16,000kg, for a compact, high power, low weight package with a power density of 33kg/hp and maximum implement-handling capability.

The unit on display at LAMMA will be liveried in the distinctive Java Green variation on the standard Deutz-Fahr colour. With a rear lift capacity of 11,100kg, five rear remote valves and a 210-litres/min hydraulic flow rate, the 8280 offers the implement-handling capability of much larger tractors.

In addition, it features the same MaxiVision cab and deluxe interior specification as its larger 9 series brothers.

The 7 Series

For farmers and contractors requiring something almost as powerful yet lighter still, also on the Deutz-Fahr LAMMA stand will be the 7250 TTV from the 7 Series.

Again finished in Warrior Black, this 247hp (max) tractor has an unladen weight of 9,030–10,325kg, or 9,185–10,475kg in HD specification, with respective rear linkage capacities of 10,000kg and 11,100kg.

A 2,918mm wheelbase makes the 7 series particularly manoeuvrable, while a 210-litres/min load-sensing hydraulic system with up to five rear remote valves handles almost every implement configuration.

The 6 Series

Deutz-Fahr’s most popular tractors, its 171–230hp (max) 6 Series models, will be represented at LAMMA in no less than four different formats, illustrating the breadth of options offered by the brand in this power sector to match individual business needs.

From the seven-strong range with its three transmission options, the largest model displayed will be a Java Green version of the 230hp 6230 TTV, with its 210-litres/min load-sensing hydraulic system and 10,000kg rear linkage capacity.

Alongside it will be four-cylinder 150hp 6150.4 and 135hp 6135C models both equipped with Deutz-Fahr’s unique RVShift 20-speed full powershift, offering a CVT-like operating experience with many of the same advantages at a lower price point.

The 6135C will be equipped with one of the latest-generation loaders, illustrating its versatility as a handling tractor.

Also among the 6 Series models will be a 170hp 6170 in conventional RCShift 54F/27R powershift specification with mechanical spool valves, to illustrate the full range of available Deutz-Fahr transmission and hydraulic options.

The 5 Series and 3 Series

The Deutz-Fahr 5 Series has a built a strong reputation among livestock farm users and those needing a tractor for lighter field tasks.

On the LAMMA stand will be no fewer than three variants, illustrating the scope of the range in its various configurations.

Largest among them will be a 125hp 5125, complete with Deutz-Fahr loader. Key features include a Stop&Go brake-to-clutch function and SenseClutch powershuttle with five-level response modulation, both designed to ease yard manoeuvring and repetitive loader operation.

Representing the 5 Series Keyline models, which were launched in 2024 to offer a larger platform option when compared to the standard 5 D Keyline Series, will be a 106hp 5105 Keyline tractor.

This is the top model in a range of 2.4m wheelbase tractors which start at 75hp and are designed to offer a high-specification loader-ready model choice in this power bracket. Alongside it will be a 90hp 5090D Keyline GS tractor complete with loader.

Deutz-Fahr 5 Series

Illustrating the wider product offering available from Deutz-Fahr for specialist crop producers, the LAMMA stand will also include a 105hp 5105 DF GS, an orchard/vineyard model from the brand’s extensive line-up that is designed to match the UK growth in grape growing in particular.

For those requiring a particularly compact tractor, a model from the three-strong 3 Series will be shown on turf tyres.

Boasting one of the best power to weight ratios in their category, the 3 Series is designed specifically for users in nurseries, greenhouses and orchards, as well as turf management.

The 51hp 3050 A will round out one of the most extensive displays of tractors on any stand at the show, complemented by a full array of precision farming solutions.
