The Black Pantera 450350 on tour

Following on from its inaugural showing at Agritechnica 2019, the unique all-black Pantera 450350 is being let out on tour for the next 6 months.


Following on from its inaugural showing at Agritechnica 2019, the unique all-black Pantera 450350 is being let out on tour for the next 6 months.

Designated the ‘Black Isle to the Black Sea Tour’, this elegantly-lacquered self-propelled sprayer will be winging its way down south across 11 countries and travelling around 6,000 kilometres in 23 weeks; the machine landing on the coast for a paddle in Bulgaria around September 2020.

For us here in Britain, the grand tour starts on March 31st at the Black Isle Showground for a breakfast meeting, courtesy of local Amazone dealer, Mark Garrick Ltd, where visitors can come and check out the new model 4503 with its Cat. IV cab, Stage V emission system, the all-new ContourControl boom with SwingStop, Comfort-Pack II, its eloquent Amazone in-house developed software and the many thought-through tweaks to what is already a very successful product. After leaving Elgin and the Black Isle, the Pantera will move on down to Dundee before hitting other locations :

Day 1: Tuesday March 31st – Mark Garrick Ltd

Day 2: Wednesday April 1st – Reekie Group, Cupar & Perth

Day 3: Thursday April 2nd – Brian Robinson Machinery Ltd, Northallerton

Day 4: Friday April 3rd – Lloyd Ltd, Alnwick

Day 5: Monday April 6th – at home with Amazone Ltd, Orchard Farm, Doncaster

Day 6: Tuesday April 7th – G & J Peck & Pecks Agri Trac, Spalding

Day 7: Wednesday April 8th – Startin Tractors, Twycross, Atherstone

Day 8: Thursday April 9th – Oliver Landpower Kings Langley

Day 9: Tuesday April 14th – Barnes Agricultural Services, Dauntsey, Chippenham

Day 10: Wednesday April 15th – Valco Marketing & C. J. Cox, Dorchester

Day 11: Thursday April 16th – Rod Gaskin Ltd, Alton

Day 12: Friday April 17th – R. W. Crawford, Writtle, Chelmsford


The Black Pantera is then off across the channel before showcasing in Northern France near Arras on Monday 20th April.

The times and exact locations will be notified nearer the time due to the current field conditions.

Joining the Pantera 450350 on tour will also be the new, 3,500 litre wraparound UF 2002 and FT 1502 front and rear mounted sprayer combi plus the UX 4201 Super with the new Super-L3 36 m 3-section boom again with ContourControl & SwingStop.
