A strategic partnership which sees Lincolnshire-based dealership Agri-Linc acquiring the Brock Parts division of J Brock & Sons, has been announced.
The move will allow J Brock & Sons to focus on its core new and used machinery business while providing Agri-Linc the opportunity to expand its spare part offering.
The Brock Parts location at Woodhams Farm, Thaxted in Essex will now be known as ‘Agri-Linc – Thaxted Depot’. The depot will continue to serve with a trade counter, supplying the existing range of parts and accessories such as Bougault Tillage, Simba Great Plains, Draper, DuraTil and Avenue parts, but it will also stock a select choice of Agri-Linc wearing parts including Proforge attachments, tractor weights and forklift brackets.
According to the companies, customers of Brock Parts that have a credit account facility can continue this with Agri-Linc and vice versa. In addition, existing Brock Parts and Avenue Agriculture customers will benefit from the extensive range of equipment featured in Agri-Linc’s catalogue and online site; www.agri-linc.com.
Speaking at the announcement of the strategic partnership, Agri-Linc’s Ben Whyles said: “This is an exciting opportunity. It unfolds a wider product range to our existing customers, bringing expertise and large product ranges from notable brands such as Bourgault. For Agri-Linc it’s a new venture, with a new location and new customers, bringing our reliable service and parts coverage to a much wider audience.”
J Brock & Sons’ Philip Brock added: “Our two companies have always had synergies and this is another exciting move for joint benefit.”
