Southern-based dealer purchases Hereford premises

Hereford agricultural business J G Plant became part of T H White Group in late 2018, and a pledge was made to invest in and develop the business, to build greater support for farmers in Herefordshire.

The staff who joined T H White from J G Plant have shown real commitment, helping to deliver service, growth and revenue, the dealer says. This has resulted in an announcement that T H White has completed the purchase of the former J G Plant site in Tillington Road, north-west Hereford.

Over the last three years the business has integrated well into the T H White operation and improvements have been made to the dealership buildings, including upgrading the lighting, fire alarm and CCTV systems, as well as redecorations.

Purchase of the site from the former landlord represents the next stage in fulfilling T H White’s pledge and will enable the site to be further developed and enhanced, to better serve the evolving needs of customers, suppliers and the agricultural community in Hereford and surrounding counties.
