A UK manufacturer of vegetable harvesting and handling machinery has this month exported its largest-ever order.

One of the first of New Holland’s latest model telehandlers has been selected to replace a competitor brand on a large Cambridgeshire family farm. David Williams reports.

A UK manufacturer of vegetable harvesting and handling machinery has supplied its first to order to South Africa thanks to a recommendation from a Canadian company.

JCB has been awarded a contract to supply the U.S. military with a fleet of specialised high speed excavators over the next eight years in a deal worth up to $269 million (£217 million).

Fendt has added the Cargo T955 telehandler to its expanding full-line product range.

The Kramer brand is upgrading a huge model range to level 5 engines, as well as adding new features for increased comfort and an optimal driving experience for operators.

After operating a succession of traditional telehandlers since the early 1990s, a Suffolk estate opted for a change when updating its machine last year. Following on-farm demonstrations of several alternatives, the decision was made to invest in an articulated telescopic.

Hydraulic-folding forks designed for shifting large quantities of forage and similar materials were launched earlier this year to further boost the productivity of JCB’s highest-output wheeled loaders, especially when working on silage clamps.

Total sales for Doosan Bobcat and Doosan Portable Power products in EMEA and outside of EMEA region grew by 12.8% to 863 million EUR in 2019, compared to the previous year.

New compact loaders from Manitou were previewed at Lamma earlier this year. The range includes skid-steer and articulated versions to suit a wide variety of users. David Williams has been trying them out.
