Leeds Welding Company acquires Browns Agricultural Machinery

The Leeds Welding Company has announced the acquisition of the assets and intellectual property of Browns Agricultural Machinery Limited.
A spokesperson for the Leeds Welding Company said: “Browns has built an outstanding reputation for high-quality, reliable products, and we are committed to ensuring that this legacy continues as manufacturing transitions to our facility in Leeds.
“We want to reassure all customers that any orders placed with Browns Agricultural Machinery Limited but not yet delivered will be honoured at the prices previously agreed but will be invoiced by The Leeds Welding Company (LWC). The manufacturing and fulfilment of these orders will now be handled in Leeds.
“During this transition, we ask for your patience as we relocate stock and put the Browns range into production at our site in Leeds. While some logistical challenges are expected, we are working hard to keep any supply disruptions to a minimum.”
Browns range in stock
The company’s team added that while getting production up to full speed will be challenging in the initial period, they aim to have spare parts for the Browns range in stock and so they can be available as soon as he team has completed the transfer of Browns stock to the Leeds site.

Browns of Leighton Buzzard have been manufacturing agricultural equipment since 1830.
