Product development leads to two new, exciting models

With the addition of two new models, the HX tractor series now offers five models ranging from 90 to 140hp, providing greater presence in this popular horse power sector. The versatile Kioti K9UTV receives a facelift across the range. Labelled the K9 2410, the facelift sees the introduction of electric proportional power steering and an increase in road speed to 50kph.

When launched last year, the HX1201 with a boosted max power of 125hp was the largest tractor produced by Kioti. The addition of the HX1301 and HX1401, sees the power increase to 130hp and 140hp respectively, which is produced by a Kioti Stage 5 four-cylinder turbo-charged and inter-cooled diesel engine.

A 32-speed Power Shift transmission produces a maximum speed of 40kph. Direction change is provided via a Power Shuttle and E-shift allows gear changes on the move without using the clutch pedal.

The comfortable and spacious cab features mechanical suspension, a fully adjustable air suspension seat, LCD dashboard and ergonomic controls.

As with the previous HX models, the 1301 and 1401 feature a Cat 2 rear hitch with a 4.4te lift capacity and two rear double acting services. The rear PTO with 540, 540 ECO and 1,000rpm options, can be engaged manually or via the automatic mode linked to the rear linkage. Operators wanting to get the most out of their HX can equip it with an optional front linkage and PTO or a front loader, operated by an integrated four-way control lever and third service.

Based on the popular K9 2400, the 2410 increases operator comfort and safety. An upgraded CVT transmission produces a homologated 50kph road speed. Whilst speed proportional electric power-steering (EPS) and an engine-brake improve handling and performance.

Customers can customise the 2410 by selecting the cabin option and colour to suit their needs. The 2410 is available with either a climate-controlled factory fit cabin, a ROPS frame with door, windscreen and canopy options, or a retro fit field cabin. As standard, the K9 is available in Kioti red, with the option of green for customers requiring a more subtle colour.

The generously sized rear load area, ability to carry three people, 4wd and high ground clearance make the K9 2410 well suited to multiple jobs around the farm.  With a 500kg capacity, the urethane lined tipping bed can carry anything from tools, to feed, to supplies and livestock if fitted with the optional livestock hood.

Off-road terrain is no problem for the K9 2410, independent wishbone suspension provides outstanding ground clearance and comfort. Selectable 4WD and optional off-road tyres ensure the power from the 25hp Kioti diesel engine is transferred to the ground.
