Company celebrates 10 years at LAMMA show
1st January 2024
In January 2024, Easy Petrol Post Driver will celebrate its 10th year exhibiting its alternative post driving machine at LAMMA.
The company says LAMMA presented the perfect stage for it to launch its brand-new way of knocking posts into the ground. Gone are the days of whacking posts in with a sledge hammer or, more hazardous, with the tractor bucket.
Since its launch at LAMMA in 2014, there have been many developments and improvements, but the goal has remained the same – to make the labour-intensive task of post driving safer and easier for farmers.
Remembering the early years at the East of England Showground, company owner Laurie Anthony said: “It was cold, dark, and raining sideways, but that didn’t stop the farmers from turning up in their droves.
“We did hundreds of demos showcasing our new way of hammering posts in, and after some early scepticism we soon convinced people that the future had arrived, in a lightweight little machine with a Honda engine on it, all the way from Australia.
“We are still so grateful to our early adopters who had faith in something new and different. One customer soon turned into hundreds, and today we have sold over 9,000 machines across Europe.”
Stand number: Hall 7, Stand 610.
