Agri tracks range heads to LAMMA
11th December 2023
Leach Lewis Rubber Tracks is now an established supplier in the agricultural track market following more than a decade supplying the construction market.
In the last three years, the company has started to supply the Vulcan Agri range of tracks for farming equipment, and the agricultural range covers 36 different track sizes from 6–36in, suitable for a range of tractors and combine harvesters from manufacturers such as Fendt, Case, New Holland, John Deere and Claas.
Each track is made specific to the make and model of machine, with friction and positive drive style units available. Unlike some makes of track where the tread and guide lugs are added to the carcass, each of the tracks supplied by Leach Lewis undergo a one-piece vulcanisation process to increase durability.
The company says its Vulcan Agri range represents one of the strongest, heavy-duty track makes on the market, reflected by the 18-month warranty offered across the range.
Whilst discussions are in place for Leach Lewis to supply the UK and European arms of various manufacturers, it has the versatility of selling to end users.
Its supplier doesn’t manufacture for OEMs at a global level, so it hasn’t seen the supply issues that a lot of track suppliers have. It has a maximum lead time of just three months, often shorter than that, and keep stock levels in the UK and Europe high.
