Hectare are looking for a sales executive to join their team in Waterloo.

About the company

We’re on a mission to lead a transformation to a sustainable, connected future for farming. It’s harder than ever to be a farmer in the UK. Farmers need to carefully manage their costs, increase their efficiency and navigate the commodity markets to maximise their revenue – all while also adopting sustainable farming practices.

Hectare is an agritech business founded by farmers and engineers with a diverse, purpose-led team. We operate the UK’s leading online marketplaces for crop and livestock. We help farmers understand the market, compare prices and ultimately make smart, informed trading decisions.

Our last funding round was a great vote of confidence in our mission from new and existing investors. We are now on the path to our next phase of growth and would love for you to join us on this journey!

Our hiring process

First, if we think your profile and skills would be a good match for what we’re looking for, we’ll contact you to arrange a short initial call with one of our team to chat through your experience and discuss the role.

Next, if successful, you’ll be invited for a more in-depth interview and sales task – this is a great opportunity to showcase your skills!

Our final step is to introduce you to some of the amazing people you may be working with – we see this as a partnership, and it’s important you get a good feel for what we’re all about, so meeting some of our herd outside of the team you’re applying to be in will be valuable to both you and us.

Process complete! That’s it, if everyone is happy, we’ll make you an offer and work closely with you through your onboarding and beyond.
