Tractor Fest 2024

Tractor Fest is the UK’s largest tractor festival and takes place on Saturday 8th – Sunday 9th June 2024 at 10am – 4pm at award-winning country house and gardens Newby Hall, Ripon, North Yorkshire, HG4 5AE.
Occupying 120 acres, the festival attracts more than 12,000 visitors annually and features more than 2,000 vintage and modern tractors, engines, commercial vehicles, cars, trucks and motorcycles.
Show highlights include:
- An engine previously owned by the Rothschild-owned Exbury Estate in Hampshire and which played a key part in preparations for the D-Day landings
- A vintage Allis Chalmers tractor being restored by a schoolgirl tractor enthusiast in memory of her uncle and local farmer, the late Brian Chester, a founding member of Tractor Fest
- An extensive display of European vintage and modern vehicles will be among the special features
- A grandfather and his two tractor-mad young grandsons with their restored vintage tractors – a 1954 ‘Little Grey Fergie’ TF20 with its own ‘Clunky’ tin man and a 1955 green Deutz FL14
- Tractor Fest will mark the 80th anniversary of D-Day landings and pay tribute to the armed forces and Ripon’s military heritage with Ripon Community Poppy Project’s life-sized knitted tank based on a Churchill AVRE tank used in the D-Day landings.
Admission includes access to Newby’s award-winning gardens, adventure playground, dolls house and teddy bear exhibitions.
This year’s festival will celebrate orange tractor marques including the Allis Chalmers, as well as harvesting and threshing machinery and an exhibition of vintage and modern European cars. The show will also feature displays from specialist marque clubs and working vintage machinery.
A host of entertainment, crafts, food and drink make Tractor Fest a great family day out. Other fun activities for families over the weekend include mini tractor driving, face painting, colouring and interactive exhibits. There are also trade stands, crafts and a choice of street food.
