The British Carrot Growers Association (BCGA) Annual Demonstration Day is on Thursday 3rd October 2024 at Cockett Barn Farm, Hexgreave Park, Farnsfield, NG22 8LW, at 8:30am – 3pm.
On the day highlights include:
- Variety Trials – Explore the latest developments in carrot varieties.
- Exhibition Stands – Visit the marquee to meet leading suppliers, innovators, and experts showcasing the latest in carrot-growing technologies and products.
- Best in Show Competition – Join the excitement as carrot breeders compete for the coveted “Best in Show” title, with the opportunity to sample and vote in the taste testing.
- Networking & Knowledge Sharing – Connect with fellow growers and industry experts throughout the day in a relaxed, informal setting.
- Breakfast, Lunch, and Refreshments – Enjoy delicious food and drinks, generously sponsored by Elsoms Seeds Ltd.
This year’s event is a highlight in the carrot-growing calendar, providing a rich experience for everyone involved in carrot growing, and kindly hosted by Bil Bradshaw, B H Bradshaw & Son, and Strawson Ltd.
