Openfield develops its Yorkshire presence

Jane Foster, an East Yorkshire farmer’s daughter, has joined Openfield as a Farm Business Manager based in the Yorkshire region. She will be providing arable farmers with innovative grain marketing options and the provision of quality seed and fertiliser products to existing Openfield farmers. Jane will also be offering Openfield contracts and excellent service to new farmers building on Openfield’s unique UK co-operative position.
James Dallas, Openfield’s CEO said, “Yorkshire is an important region to us, and we’re delighted that Jane has joined the team. She has a wealth of local knowledge and experience that will significantly increase our support to Yorkshire farmers. Jane will be working hard to connect Yorkshire farmers with contracts that supply some of the best-known British food and drink brands.”
Jane has already started meeting current Openfield farmers. She is very much looking forward to introducing Openfield to new customers both on farm and at the Great Yorkshire Show between 9 and 11 July.
