Pitchup.com and FCN continue supporting British farmers
21st March 2025
The outdoor accommodation provider Pitchup.com is continuing its partnership with The Farming Community Network (FCN) for the second year, after the two organisations first joined forces in November 2023.
Pitchup.com, which works closely with farmers diversifying into agritourism, chose to support FCN due to the vital work it does in helping to improve the health and wellbeing of the farming community.
As well as donating money to the charity, the company will be sharing mental health resources with its farming customers and signposting them to the FCN’s services should they face difficulties.
Dan Yates, founder of Pitchup.com, said that now more than ever, farmers need as much support as they can get.
By supporting FCN, the Pitchup.com team hoped to do their bit to alleviate some of the stress the farming community is currently suffering.

‘Vital work’
Mr Yates added: “It is no secret that the farming industry has faced incredible turmoil over recent years, from drastic changes to the way it is funded, unprecedented weather events, and the removal of Agricultural Property Relief.
“To say farmers are feeling the strain is an understatement. It has been one thing after another for them and their families.
“This all makes the FCN’s work even more vital. Everyone needs somewhere to turn to sometimes, and that is what the FCN provides for the farming community.
“If we can support them in that, even a little bit, that is a very worthwhile thing to do.”
Georgina Lamb, senior partnerships manager at FCN, said she was delighted Pitchup.com had chosen to continue its support of the charity for another year.
She continued: “Pitchup.com work directly with a lot of farmers all across the country, so they understand the pressures they face.
“It is seeing these struggles over recent years that prompted them to reach out to us in the first place, because they wanted to help.
“Having support from businesses like Pitchup.com is fantastic as it really helps us to help the farming community as much as we can.
“I’m delighted that Pitchup.com has decided to extend its support and I’m looking forward to working with them throughout 2025.”
