Timberspecs designs and supplies bespoke, sustainable, eco-friendly timber log cabins, mobile homes and houses throughout the UK.

The timber used is sourced from managed forests in the Carpathian Mountains and certified – meaning it has great longevity, and is in no way temporary. In fact, if maintenance is carried out correctly, the potential life span could be 100–200 years.

The company supplies cabins which comply with the Caravan Sites Act 1968, up to 20×6.8m in size, as mobile homes – ideal for long-term holiday lets and glamping.

The vast majority of Timberspecs’ clients are farmers, and examples of its work can be viewed on farms right across the UK.

The company offers a one-stop-shop service, from initial design, to helping with planning permission thanks to access to Timberspecs’ planning consultants, to assisting with finance contacts – and finally, the site work and build itself.

With a back catalogue of hundreds of plans that have been done for previous clients, the team has plenty of inspiration which can be used as a starting point if you’re not quite sure what you’re after. All designs are bespoke, including colour, finish, roofing type, size, layout and the final aesthetics.  What’s more, Timberspecs can also assist with foundations, electrics, plumbing, kitchens and bathrooms.

With flooding a major concern over the last few years, the team has plenty of experience in building cabins on raised footings, in order to prevent flooding and water damage.
