Ben Burgess and Manitou formally announce their mutual decision not to renew their Dealership Agreement when it expires on 31st December 2020.
Ben Burgess has promoted, sold, and supported Manitou agricultural and construction machines since 2007. Both companies agree that this has been a very successful working relationship whereby Manitou customers have been professionally supported by Ben Burgess throughout their trading area. However, Ben Burgess has made the decision to promote Kramer telehandlers as from 1st January 2021.
“We will continue to sell and support Manitou machines up until the end of 2020. Manitou will appoint a new dealer to cover the trading area commencing 1st January 2021,” explained Ben Turner, Managing Director, Ben Burgess. “We will continue to work as normal for the remainder of 2020, and work together with Manitou from 1st January 2021 to ensure a smooth transition to the new dealer.”
Manitou UK Managing Director, Mark Ormond comments, “We have enjoyed an excellent working relationship with Ben Burgess but understand their decision to work with Kramer in future due to its connection with John Deere. We have reached an agreement with a new dealer to cover the area vacated by Ben Burgess from 1st January 2021. That will be announced this week by separate press release.”
Mark and Ben would like to assure customers that Ben Burgess and Manitou part on very amicable terms. “Our joint priority is to continue supporting our loyal customers, now and into the future.”
