Pink Ladies Tractor Road Run raises over £60K for charity
10th July 2024
Nearly 200 people took part in this year’s Pink Ladies Tractor Road Run, raising tens of thousands for Cancer Research UK.
Thousands of people lined the streets in Norfolk on 7th July to support the Pink Ladies Tractor Road Run.
Around 190 tractors took part in the 20-mile route this year, raising over £62,000 for Cancer Research UK so far. The final sum raised will be revealed in a few weeks.
In honour of the occasion, participants and their tractors were dressed and decorated in pink, with some paying tribute to cancer survivors, or those they had lost to the disease.
Starting at Thorpe Abbotts in south Norfolk at 11.30am, tractors made their way to Gawdy Hall Meadow for a picnic lunch, before looping back to the starting point at 4.30pm.
Since the Pink Ladies Tractor Road Run was started by Annie Chapman in 2004, it has raised over £1 million for breast cancer research.
