Three baby pygmy goats stolen from East Sussex farm
3rd July 2024
Three baby pygmy goats have been stolen from a farm located in East Sussex, leaving a six-year-old girl “heartbroken”.
The goats were stolen from the Honeycomb Farm in Hailsham between 4pm on Sunday 30th June and 6 am on Monday 1st July.
The farm owner, Paul Koc, said that his six-year-old daughter, Rae, is “heartbroken”.
The baby pygmy goats, Jasmine, Primrose, and Poppy, were found missing on Monday morning, with the door to their enclosure “jimmied open”.
Antonia Koc told the media: “We have got their mums who are still crying for them”.
Dearly missed
The Honeycomb Farm owners issued a statement that reads: “Please help return them to their mamas and their little farmer.
“If anyone suddenly has three new little girl goats or if you see them for sale, please let us know.
“This has been reported as a theft, and they are dearly missed by us and their mums.
“They are all super friendly babies, so only tiny but very distinct colours.
“Please make them too hot to handle and share this post. We just want them home!”
Sussex Police said the incident had been passed on to its Rural Crime Team, and an investigation had been launched.
Witnesses or anyone with any information or footage is asked to contact police online or call 101, quoting serial 300 of 01/07.”
