Former West Midlands poultry farm to be sold
15th April 2024
Broad Lane Poultry Farm, at Bloxwich, near Walsall, has been put up for sale and could be turned into a housing development or equestrian centre.
The former poultry farm, located in West Midlands, has been used as a market garden farm but faced profitability issues.
Estate agent Halls is now taking offers for the sale of £850,000.
The site comprises a large, five-bedroom farmhouse with a spacious garden and grazing land. The site also includes 9,700 sq. ft. of agricultural buildings.
The current owners have also applied for pre-application to build three more detached houses on the property.
Profitability issues
The property was formerly a poultry farm over 10 years ago; the current owner purchased it and used it as a market garden farm for some time before ending the business due to profitability issues.
The agent, Charlotte Hurley, called the farm a “great potential for a wide range of prospective buyers”, pointing out that the site may be turned into a housing development or an equestrian centre.
