Farmer and TV presenter Adam Henson launches wildflower seeds collection

Well-known farmer and TV presenter Adam Henson just announced the launch of his new online store with its first product, a range of British wildflower seeds.

Adam Henson just announced the launch of his new online store, Wildscape, with its first product, a range of British wildflower seeds.

The collection of seeds, created by Mr Henson and the team at Cotswold Farm Park, is now available in the online shop called Wildscape. Its first product aims to transform landscapes into thriving havens for biodiversity, no matter the size of the space.

Developed in collaboration with leading experts in ecology and sustainable agriculture, Wildscape promises to create beautiful spaces, bringing joy to all those who experience them and creating essential habitats to foster biodiversity.

Inspired by the wildflower varieties grown on his farm and onsite at Cotswold Farm Park, Mr Henson has fused his passion for conservation and preserving biodiversity to develop Wildscape.

Supporting local biodiversity

He said: “I believe everyone should consider growing wildflowers, not only are they beautiful native British blooms, but they also support local biodiversity. No matter if it’s a small pot in an urban setting or large garden, wildflowers create a mini ecosystem right outside your window, attracting a variety of birds, insects, and other delightful creatures.

“Many organisations, including our farm, work tirelessly to promote the planting of wildflower meadows and the restoration of habitats to ensure the continued presence of these botanical gems in the British summer. Embarking on a journey with UK wildflowers isn’t just about supporting nature; it’s also about transforming your own space into a haven of beauty and wellbeing.”

Five British mixes

Wildscape seeds are meticulously curated to include a diverse selection of native wildflowers and are currently available in five British mixes, including Pollinator Paradise, Wetland Wonder and Marvellous Meadow.

Each collection is available in six sizes, covering spaces from as little as 2.5m2 to large open spaces of 250m2. The seed varieties have been chosen for their resilience and ability to thrive in British environments, pollinator power and low maintenance upkeep.

Whether it’s a small backyard garden in full sun, pots on a balcony in the shade, or a vast countryside meadow, Wildscape offers seeds for every space and condition.

For experienced gardeners as well as beginners

The seeds are suitable for everybody, whether you are a beginner, a seasoned gardener or gifting them to a friend. With straightforward instructions and very little equipment needed, the seeds just need to be sprinkled onto the prepared soil.

To further the mission, a percentage of proceeds from online sales of the wildflower seeds will help to support Mr Henson’s habitat restoration projects, rare breed conservation programmes, and other initiatives aimed at preserving natural heritage at Cotswold Farm Park.

Wildflower seeds are available to purchase online at Wildscape from £5.99.
