Cheshire dealership celebrates successful open day
15th February 2024
On Thursday, 8th February, Cheshire Farm Machinery hosted their annual open day, where both new and existing customers had the opportunity to explore a variety of agricultural machinery.
A range of suppliers and trade partners came to exhibit their products, including companies such as Deutz Fahr, Kubota, Manitou, Kramp, NFU, Kverneland, and Spread-A-Bale.
The dealership located in Northwich offers a range of new and used farm machinery and parts. The company also carries out on-site repairs and offers advice while looking for the right equipment.
Special guests
Andrew Dutton of Cheshire Farm Machinery said: “The open day went great. Despite the rain, the event was very well attended, with a hog roast and plenty of teas and coffees being served to keep everyone looked after.
“Our dealership welcomed 16 exhibitors, as well as special guests, the National Farmers Union, and the Cheshire Young Farmers Club. A famous YouTube blogger, Olly Harrison, known in the farming industry as Olly Blogs Agricontract, also paid us a visit. We already can’t wait to welcome everyone once again to our annual open day in 2025.”
Highlights of the day
Mr Dutton said that the demonstration of the new rolling road tester, and Kverneland’s new self-propelled diet feeder on display were among the many highlights of the day.
Cheshire Farm Machinery has been in business since 2011, starting off with just a small site at Marbury House Farm. Over the years, the business has expanded and moved to the current premises at Grange Farm in 2017.
Mr Dutton added: “We’re very proud of the relationship we created with our customers. They trust us and our advice when it comes to farming machinery. We’re growing year by year, and the recent successful open day is an example of our hard work.”
