Materials handler manufacturer returns to LAMMA in 2024

Manitou, and sister company Gehl, will display a representative selection of machines from their very wide range of telehandlers, articulated loaders, tracked and wheeled skid-steer loaders along with their range of material handling equipment.

The stand will also have for the first time a simulator where operators can come and have ‘real life go’ on a Manitou machine. The famous Manitou JSM joystick will feature a new added extra of the MSM (Manitou Steering Ministick) which has multiple benefits to the user. This is a new patented intelligent thumb controlled steering system on a telehandler with four-wheel steering. The new system is 100% safe with operator hand detection and offers better stability thanks to a steering response adapted to the machine speed and boom angle.

Manitou telehandlers are renowned for their performance, comfort, and cost-efficiency and the two models on display will be the newest MLT 850-145 V+ telehandler which was launched last January, and is the fourth model in the NewAg XL range. With a load capacity of 5t and a working height of 7.6m, this new model completes the existing range to meet the needs of large farms and cooperatives. The second MLT model will be the MLT 741-140V+. With a 6.9m working height and a 4.1t lift capacity, this model has been designed so the operator can actively focus on enhancing profitability and cost-efficiency.

Manitou and Gehl will both feature the new compact tracked models, the Manitou 2300VT and the Gehl V230. Balancing size with performance in an optimised package, the medium-frame VT230 and 2300VT vertical lift Track Loader is built to handle tough environments. a spacious cab with improved visibility to help operators spot hazards and a simplified operator control station, these models keep the user safe, confident, and prepared on the job site. Technicians will be ready for anything thanks to our new centralized maintenance point located near the rear of the machine which improves access and serviceability to help reduce maintenance labour. Strong, durable, and simple to maintain, the VT230 and 2300VT are built to get the job done.

Manitou offers a wide range of easy-to-use, efficient, and versatile forklifts, allowing users to handle loads with precision and safety. Designed to accommodate all job constraints and challenges, the MI 25D will be on stand. Equipped with a 37kW diesel engine, this model has a load capacity of 2,500kg and a lifting height of 6.5m.

The newest, unlaunched model will be previewed for the first time ever taking centre stage of the stand, but all will be revealed on the first day of the show.
