Glendale Show 2023

Monday 28th August sees the return of the Glendale Show at Wooler. This is a major annual event in north Northumberland which celebrates farming and every aspect of life in the countryside.

The annual show, which has been going for over 130 years, seeks to bring together all aspects of living and working in the wonderful Northumberland countryside covering the skills, the activities and the produce. It is one of the major annual events in north Northumberland and offers something for everyone to enjoy.

There are the traditional “best of breed” competitions, the ever-popular companion dog show, dog agility and the Children’s Fancy Dress Equine Class.

There are also competitions for “skills and past-times” which cover a host of classes such as cut flowers, vegetables, baking, jams, handicrafts and photography.

And, don’t miss the spectacular Broke BMX Motorbike Stunt Team, Aldabra Giant Tortoises, Falconry Display and Vintage & Heavy Horse Display.

Finally, there will be a variety of catering and bar facilities to keep you going through the day to add to your enjoyment.
