Award-winning company returns to Lamma
6th December 2021
Martin Lishman Ltd will once again be exhibiting the latest in crop storage technology at Lamma ‘22.
In 2019, the company won the Gold Innovation Award for ImpacTrack, a low-cost shock sensor inside a synthetic food shape that finds sources of damage and helps to reduce fresh produce waste during processing and transport. Now, over 35 ImpacTrack shapes are available. They mimic produce ranging from a mussel to a pineapple, including highly sensitive produce such as apples and avocados.
In 2012, Martin Lishman won Best New Product for the Barn Owl Wireless system, which enables store managers to monitor temperatures remotely and control crop store fans automatically via a cloud-based portal, removing the need to manually check temperatures and turn cooling fans on and off.
“We have had a surge in farmers approaching us for Barn Owl Wireless systems,” comments sales director Joel Capper. “It’s clear that farmers want a slice of the system’s benefits, including faster cooling times at reduced energy costs, helping users to maintain a higher quality yield and recording their store history for crop assurance.”
Barn Owl Wireless is commonly used with Martin Lishman’s FloorVent underfloor ventilation system, StoreVent building ventilation and Pile-Dry Pedestals and Fans; all of which will be displayed at Lamma.
