Leon Boots Co EXBL Unisex Black Boot wins on affordability, lightness and comfort.
Suffolk farmer Andrea Sharp recently acquired a new pair of Leon Boots for the farmhouse. Having put them to the test, she shares her views on the Leon Boots Co EXBL Unisex Black Boots.
“My initial thoughts of the LBC brand are that they are shorter, wider and more affordable than my usual farm footwear, which is more fitted, coming up higher on my calf. The ease with which I could slide the LBC boots effortlessly on and off was a massive positive, as I generally struggle out of my old Wellingtons, but had no such issues with these robust boots, with detachable socks that fit like a comfortable glove.
“The next thing I noticed was that they really are ‘ultralight’. The new boots weighed less than a half that of my current footwear, which makes a significant difference when working on the farm and fields for most of the day.
“I trudged, stomped, ran and went about my daily duties, doing everything I could to push the Wellingtons to the limit. It was cold and wet November weather, but my feet have never felt more comfortable or warm, and not to mention, dry. And at the end of the day, I could wash the detachable socks.
“I am overjoyed with the new addition to our farmhouse boot room – my only complaint is that we only have one pair!”
