In these troubled times, when the UK is seeing a rise in rural crime, many farmers will be looking to update their security systems.
In these troubled times, when the UK is seeing a rise in rural crime, many farmers will be looking to update their security systems.
With this in mind, Trailer Vision is making farmers aware of its innovative Yard-Vue camera, which can be viewed on demand from anywhere in the world via compatible smart devices connected through a free app.
Trailer Vision’s Dean Ridley explains that as the camera is HD 1080p, it will record potentially useful details needed to identify perpetrators (depending on their position/distance relative to the camera), allowing farmers to take action to report the theft and retrieve their property. All recorded footage can be accessed via the free-of-charge app, or by removing the built-in SD card.
Numerous cameras can be connected to one device at a time, giving an overview of what is happening on the property. Customised alerts, via a built-in movement sensor, can be set up if there is any suspicious activity. Once the user receives an alert, they can access the camera view via the app on their phone to determine whether any action needs to be taken.
All that is required for the system to operate is mains power and a Wi-Fi network with internet access.
