Elsoms Seeds, a leading independent plant breeder, seed supplier and seed treatment specialist, has won an International Safety Award from the British Safety Council. The award recognises the company’s commitment to keeping workers and workplaces healthy and safe during 2016.
Congratulating Sophie Potts, Health and Safety Officer at Elsoms on winning the award, Mike Robinson, Chief Executive of the British Safety Council said, “The British Safety Council commends Elsoms on their achievement. Now in their 59th year, the International Safety Awards are judged by a panel of independent experts and awarded to diverse organisations from around the world. Success is dependent on a company demonstrating real commitment to protecting its employees from workplace injuries and work-related ill health during the preceding calendar year.
