Figures published today (9th June) by the Agricultural Engineers Association make cheerful reading for the industry.
The number of tractors (exceeding 50hp) registered during May was up 14.4 per cent on the same month last year, with a total 968 machines.
The year-to-date figure remains lower, but manufacturers will be hoping the Cereals event next week, as well as excellent crop growing conditions will encourage further investment in new machines.
