Everything you should know about tomorrow’s farmers’ rally in London
3rd March 2025
Tomorrow, thousands of farmers will gather at Westminster to once again express their dissatisfaction with governmental policies, particularly changes to the inheritance tax. Here is all you should know.
The Amnesty March will take place on Tuesday, 4th March, Pancake Day, at 12 noon at Westminster, London.
The on-foot protest has been arranged by the organisers of the November 2024 rally, which brought together farming families from around the country.
Farmer and YouTuber Olly Harrison said that farmers are set to march through London. They will be accompanied by harvesters, tractors and sprayers.
However, the participants were asked not to bring their own machinery to the capital.

‘Food has to be grown in the UK’
Mr Harrison added: “We’re going to explain, as it’s never been more important, especially with what’s been going on in the world now with the threat of war, how important food is and the risk that we’re taking with the amount of money invested, and why this inheritance tax is not sustainable to keep people farming.
“We need an exemption for more people that are not going to live seven years; that is what the day is all about. We still need to remind the government that food has to be grown in the UK to the highest level possible to give us some sort of security.”
