Househam Sprayers announces acquisition after company went into administration

Househam Sprayers has been operating since 1970, offering agricultural innovation, designing and manufacturing advanced crop spraying systems.

Based in Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire, its product range includes the Harrier, Air-Ride and Spirit models. Beyond manufacturing, Househam operates a UK-based global parts division, maintaining an extensive inventory of over 24,000-line items.

A spokesperson for the business said: “It is our pleasure to announce that Househam Group Ltd has acquired the trade and assets of Househam Sprayers Ltd, a well-established name in the agricultural sector, which entered administration earlier this month.

“The acquisition by Househam Group Ltd marks a significant milestone for the business, putting it on a stable financial footing and providing a platform for long-term sustainability and growth.

“We look forward to continuing our focus upon innovation, operational excellence and delivering high-quality products and exceptional service to all our customers.”

To support this new phase of growth, a board of directors and a senior management team have been established to work alongside managing director Robert Willey, providing strategic guidance and industry expertise.

This leadership team will play a crucial role in driving innovation, operational efficiency, and long-term success for Househam Group Ltd, the company added.

Househam Group confirmed that it will retain a dedicated team of 47 employees, collectively bringing over 380 years of experience and knowledge to the company.

“This wealth of expertise ensures that we are well-equipped to support our customers and meet their needs effectively.

“Househam Group remains fully committed to its core values and will continue to manufacture and supply high-quality self-propelled crop sprayers. The transition will not impact ongoing projects or customer relationships, ensuring seamless business operations.

“Customers, suppliers, and partners will receive direct communication regarding administrative updates, including invoicing and contractual changes. The company sincerely thanks all stakeholders for their continued support throughout this transition,” the business said.
